Jack Franklin Necktie Review and Giveaway!

Something new, something different. With the holidays fast approaching, I decided I needed to add something for the man of the house to my blog. I was really happy to find Jack Franklin Neckties. Brand name quality, minus the price. The ties are extremely well made and are 100% of the highest quality silk. Not only was I very impressed with how affordable all of his ties were and how fast it was shipped but just look at the variety of color and designs!
There is such a variety of colors and designs that I just could not pick one out so my son who is an office man picked out the Goose Bumps. It has an elegant shine, earth tone brown, very classy and a really smooth touch to it. Absolutely gorgeous tie!
All Jack Franklin ties are given wool interlining, adding a layer of thickness that helps tie a beautiful knot. The ties are all hand-sewn for ultimate quality and perfection. I also have to mention, they are very true to the colors on the website. I am recommending Jack Franklin Ties to all my friends who wear ties.

Activia Selects Blog Tour

I am pretty excited about having the privilege of writing about the New Activia Selects for Mom Central. Our house is full of woman and Activia is defiantly a main course snack here so when they came out with Activia Selects, I couldn't wait to try them. I am a huge yogurt fan anyways and Activia is a for sure once a day yogurt for me. I do actually depend on it for the regularity of my digestive system as does my grandmother, mother and daughter. We all depend on it's probiotic culture called Bifidus Regularis because it certainly works wonders for us.

Now I am really excited about the new flavors and variety of textures that Activia has come up with. The New Activia Selects - Parfait, Greek, French and French Fruit on the Bottom are my new morning breakfast food. First thing first and that is our yogurt! With new flavors and variety, you can't go wrong. One of my favorite is the Activia Selects-Parfait. I love the crunchy granola bits that you mix in the smooth and creamy yogurt along with fruit pieces. Something about yogurt, fruit and granola that just taste right. To die for! I got hooked on that back when the fast food chains came out with it. Now, I get to have it in my daily Activia. Love it!

Although I was a bit shocked to see how high the Carbohydrate Sugar was, I have to have my Activia. Of course it is not high enough for me to not eat the New Selects and there is always the Activia Light. It only means I don't eat a bunch of junk during the day which has also been a benefit thanks to Activia. Some days, I eat as many as 2 to 3 Activia's but at least I know they are good for me. As long as I get my Activia yogurt first thing in the morning, any of the flavors or textures, I know I am off to a great start! Thank you Activia Selects for your great new flavors and for helping me feel so good inside!

Discover an exciting variety of Activiaproducts and flavors. With so much to choose from, it’s hard to pick a favorite!

Dinky Dragon Costume from Wholesale Costume Club Review!

Earth is being taken over by fire breathing dragons who have awakened from a long hibernation and broken out of their underground lairs, OK, maybe not.

Children love to dress up in animal Halloween costumes and this year your child's imagination can fly high in the Dinky Dragon Costume Infant Toddler. As this fire breathing beast, your little one will look adorable on Halloween as a mythical monster that's as cute as can be. The dinky dragon costume is a cozy and cuddly jumpsuit with detachable accessories made with soft, plush fabrics in bold, bright colors. The dinky dragon outfit will completely cover your little one so that you will only see his face through the dragon's mouth in the hood. Costumes include a jumpsuit with a tail, a hood with horns, a pair of pointed wings, and booties with non-skid soles. It has snaps on the leg for diaper changing and can be layered with any regular clothes underneath.
My Review:

I was so blessed with the opportunity to give Wholesale Halloween Costumes a try and they carry Infant Halloween Costumes so I was pretty excited about that. Of course I picked the Dinky Dragon Costume. Looking so ferociously cute, not even a dragon slayer will want to mess with this little fire breather. I love this little costume and our little guy looks so adorable in it. The costume is so soft and will be so warm for the chilly Halloween night! With all that said, Keegan has plenty of room for warm under clothes. Very pretty fabric and great coloring. It runs a tad big for him ( I knew it would) only because he is so little yet and the costume is actually a 6-12 months, he is 4 months, but we can do the adjusting and Halloween is still a month or more away. I have to mention, I love the snaps on the leg for making diaper changing a breeze. This costume is so well made, I plan on passing it along to younger siblings and cousins for future Halloweens. Although this little fire breathing dragon will be in his den early that night, he sure will make a big hit with the family Halloween get together. Thank you Wholesale Costume Club for making Keegan's first Halloween such a Fire Breathing Dragon success!

Cheater Cheater, Pumpkin Eater! Really??

You can search the winner’s IP address to see if they entered under multiple names from the same computer.
I do have something to say in regards to this statement and I am not saying it or trying to sound mean. My daughter and I live in the same house. We both have respectable blogs and we both do our own thing as to our blogs and our own review and giveaways. But this statement above has limited our ability to enter other blog giveaways because we both share the same computer, one house, one computer. I don't have the money to go out and purchase another computer because someone might think we cheat because we have entered the same giveaway on from our "only" computer. I don't cheat and I don't look for cheaters on my giveaways. I only look at my winner and  check to make sure that the person who was picked as the winner, has done the right thing as to the entries. I look at it this way, all those REAL cheaters, only made it good for the winner because if it was not for the CHEATER, that winner might of been someone else's number. "I hope that made sense." :(

Don't get me wrong, I love Rafflecopter. I am just saying that this statement does not mean that someone is Cheating. "Cheater" entering under multiple names, same computer" is not always true. I am me and my daughter is her, although we share the same computer, "2" different people.
One other thing, there are so many giveaways out there that most of the time I am afraid to enter because I don't know if I already entered that giveaway. The old way of doing it using comments that you could see at least kept me from entering a contest twice. I now don't enter half as many giveaways as I used to because I don't want to be deemed a "CHEATER". My loss!

InfraShine UL3 Cool Switch Blow Dryer Review and Giveaway ($225 Value)!

InfraShine Unveils UL3 Dryer!
Although now a Title Examiner, one of my many hats in life has been a hair stylist. I bought my kids up on styling hair. I love playing with hair and the styling tools are what make it fun! You can just imagine how excited I was to review the New InfraShine UL3 dryer. I always lived by the motto, a good hair style is one that works the day you leave the salon. A good haircut will bounce back into shape after the first wash and blow dry and does not need a stylist to fix it everyday.

Speaking of blow drying, this it the most awesome dryer I have ever used. Trust me, I have tried them all. The UL3 is light weight, "love it", quiet (I'm up early before the rest of the clan) and my hair isn't all over the place when I get done using it. I actually could leave the house without doing anything else and my hair looks great. The InfraShine dryer features a ceramic-infused grille that emits FAR-infrared-ray radiant heat that dries hair faster and cuts styling time. Works for me!

Another great feature that I really love, is the Cool Switch. On most blow dryers, in order to make the cool switch work, you have to hold it down. Not with the UL3. All you have to do is click it once and cool air stays on and click it again, back to heat. NICE, makes styling hair real easy for the consumer and the professional.
I am highly impressed and I would highly recommend the InfraShineUL3 Dryer to all my friends, especially to my stylist friends. Boy, would they love this blow dryer in the salon.

Beanie Designs Review and Giveaway!

Beanie Designs and da Bear Whisperer!
I was super excited (so was Keegan, the bear whisperer) when Beanie Designs offered me one of their so very cute Baby Hats to review.

Hi, I'm Keegan da Bear Whisperer. To tame da bear, you have to be da bear, hey?

Have you ever seen anything so fricken cute? It was so hard to pick just one! I had so many that I loved but I finally came to a decision and picked the Organic cotton Cream bear ear hat with ear flaps. Got to keep my Keegan's little ears warm. Keegan is a Upper you know, it's cold up there. I found the hat was extremely well made and true to size and  very soft. Perfect for a new little head that might be the president some day, after all, he's mastered the Bear Whispering, ya know. Nothing but the best for Keegan!

Good News! Pearls of Joy Review and Giveaway!

I have never felt so elegant until I put on these beautiful Freshwater Pearl Earrings. Stunning! Pearls of Joy sent me a beautiful pair of White Freshwater Pearl Earrings (70-80mm) to review so I could learn more about their company. I have never owned a pair of Pearl Earrings mainly because they were out of my price range. These Pearl Earrings actually have a illuminating iridescent glow to them and go with everything. Absolutely GORGEOUS!
The came in a really nice black gift box along with a Certified Appraisal. Appraised Value: $250.00. Wow! This is great to have for when I pass them on down to my daughter. And, from what I read, pearl jewelry does not go down in value, it only goes up.
The appraisal states that these pearls are 90% blemish free, the post are 14kt gold, and they are Grade AA+. How cool is that? A cheaper metal always gets my ears infected. I always want to go with quality jewelry whenever possible.

"Meanest Mother in the World!"

This is a letter I found many many moons ago and I gave it to my mother and she reminded me of it this morning as she dripped tears from her eyes. I felt this is something I wanted to share with my readers.

"Meanest Mother in the World!"

I had the meanest Mother in the world. While other kids had candy for breakfast, I had to eat cereal, eggs and toast. While other kids had cakes and candy for lunch, I had a sandwich. As you can guess, my dinner was different from other kid's dinners too.

My mother insisted on knowing where we were at all times. You'd think we were on a chain gang or something. She had to know who our friends were and what we were doing.

Good News! Money everywhere!

Don't Miss what is right in front of you!
Another new found awareness that I thought was worth sharing. Yesterday I went to the store, a pretty big store at that, nation wide. I went in with 4 items in mind and on a mission. Got my stuff and headed for the self express check out lanes in front of the store. Rang up my items, paid for them, $18.73 worth, grabbed my $2.50 coupon that spit out of the coupon machine to use for the next time I go in and proceeded to walk pass a gentleman at the register in front of mine. He was still paying for his item, I believe he was purchasing a birthday cake. As I was walking by, I noticed the coupon machine at his register had spit out a coupon for a whopping $20.00 of store credit or free items on the next prescription filled at that store. Wow! What I can't do with $20.00 of free stuff. I just could not let that go!
